OUR MANIFESTO

And then, one day, we woke up pissed off. We noticed how much we were actually holding for everyone else. Somewhere in the middle of it all, we forgot about us.

OUR MANIFESTO

We Stopped Waiting to be Chosen...

As girls, we were handed a version of success that crippled us slowly in the background of what became a busy life.

It looked like achieving more, producing more, and holding it together. And we damned well had to be smiling through it so they didn't call us ungrateful.

The lie underneath all of it, that no one said out loud: that our worth was something to be granted. We needed approval first. Only with the right grades, the right personality... the right approval.

We were raised to be chosen. The reward for 'being good' was the guy, the white picket fence, and the children running around the house.

The fairytale that convinced us that only a prince could make it happen...

So we followed the map faithfully and became high-achieving, deeply feeling, exhausted, and resentful women who never let it show.

We built careers and raised children. Supported our partners by giving them our backs to climb. Some of us, like me, moved across the world for someone else's next chapter and started over without a village.

We showed up.

We held it down.

All of it.

And then, one day, we woke up pissed off. We noticed how much we were actually holding for everyone else. Somewhere in the middle of it all, we forgot about us.

Our bodies started to speak, and everything we'd stuffed down began to surface. One day we looked up and found ourselves in the middle of a life that didn't feel...

Like our own.

We stopped knowing which direction was ours. Too busy building a life around everyone else's.

She Is Untamed is a publication for women navigating life's biggest changes.

It is not a wellness blog or a self-help feed. And you won't find toxic positivity here. We won't tell you to "bloom where you're planted." We inspire you to plant your own damn garden.

No bypassing. No pretending.

She Is Untamed is where we tell the truth in the words you want to say. We talk wholeheartedly about grief, identity, relocation, the loneliness we feel but can't admit to, and the exhaustion underneath our ambition.

We talk about what it actually takes to rebuild yourself from the pain of it all... not about what happens after the pain is over. We move through the pain together here.

We write about success, but not the kind we were sold. The kind of success we were always chasing but never knew it. Success that costs you nothing of yourself, and doesn't require you to slowly chip away at who you are.

The kind of success that's built on expanding your capacity to hold everything, instead of shrinking yourself to keep others comfortable.

The kind of success that feels like coming home.

A Legacy in the Making...

We are the women who survived the lie. Who spent years waiting to be chosen before we understood the truth.

And we are not the last word.

Our daughters are watching us right now. They notice how we hold it all. They're watching what we tolerate, what we say and don't say, what we name aloud, and what we finally put down.

They learn from us whether their worth is theirs to claim or someone else's to grant.

So we tell the truth out loud to heal what happened — and help those in our footsteps never have to unlearn a lie that didn't serve them.

The lie ends with us.

We believe:

Women don't need another guru. We need clarity. And we find clarity by expanding our capacity, not by shrinking ourselves to fit.

We're done shrinking, and we're done surviving.

Life doesn't get easier. We get better at holding it.

And the most radical thing we can do— is stop surviving our life and start leading it.

She Is Untamed is founded by Stephanie Peers: a mother and wife, a writer and editor, and a personal success strategist who knows firsthand what it means to be relocated, displaced, and rebuilt from scratch. She's obsessed with moving emotions, connecting with the elements, and living a life that feels fully alive. She believes you should be all the way in on your life, not half in it... and that your body is the key.
